Rumors and releases for April

If you've been wondering why I haven't posted anything lately, it's because there really hasn't been much to say. The gaming community has been pretty quiet since Mass Effect 3.  However, April is looking to be a fairly busy month for gamers, with a few notable releases and some DLC rumors (one of which I have previously covered but will reiterate here)

Let's start with some new releases for this month.
Kinect Star Wars was just released today, and it may give me a reason to dust off my Kinect and actually use it, since I'm a huge fan of Star Wars. I still hold out hope that Kinect will live up to its potential and won't be a complete waste of my money.
The Walking Dead: The Game will be released on April 30th. It will then join the other 250 zombie killing games already out.
The Devil May Cry HD Collection was also released today. I've never been really into that series, but fans of Devil May Cry have a reason to be excited.
The Witcher 2 is coming to Xbox 360 on April 17th, after having been out for PC for nearly a year. I've heard great things about The Witcher from PC players, and it will likely get a similar reaction out of Xbox players.

Now, on to DLC.

Bethesda has promised big things for players of Skyrim, which will hopefully come in form of a DLC, possibly titled "Dawnguard."

Bioware may be releasing a new ending for Mass Effect 3, after last months uproar by fans. Nothing is solid, but they have promised to "address the issue," so either the Indoctrination Theory is right, or it isn't and Bioware's writers really did drop the ball. Either way, it is likely the ending will be fixed, either through a patch or a (hopefully) free DLC.

April looks to be the last good month for releases for a while as far as I can tell. Summer releases are few and far between, unless Guild Wars 2 is released early.

However, I want to get away from games for a moment here. The movie "The Avengers"  is coming out in May, and I am pretty pumped for it. It will feature Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and Iron Man as the heroes. After seeing all of the movies except Hulk, I'm really looking forward to this movie. I'm also hoping for another Green Lantern movie in the future.

Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. That about sums up what April will have to offer us gamers. Enjoy it, because it may be the last big thing until E3.
