More on Minecraft

Even as I wrote my review for the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft, I knew that it wouldn't be the last time I speak of it. After weeks of playing, I have only fallen more in love with Minecraft. It seems impossible to get bored when there is so much to do and create. My favorite creation yet was a tower that was so tall it reached the maximum block limit. I then built 2 more of those towers right next to it and connected them. I then named it after myself.

Playing with friends is fun, as long as you choose the right people. That is, people who won't trash your house and steal your stuff the second you leave the game. It can be hard to find good people to play with at times, and that's when I just work alone, which is fine by me. I usually live on the opposite side of the island as everyone else even when I play multiplayer.

Of course, the PC edition has much more to offer, what with mods and more features, but I can honestly say that Minecraft is one game I don't want to play with mods. I just want to build stuff, nothing more. Besides, the vast majority of my friends are on Xbox Live anyway, so it works out pretty well for me.

I honestly can not believe that I never bothered to play Minecraft before it came out on Xbox 360. There is just so much to do. Once again, if you haven't picked up the game yet, do it. You might be surprised.
